Jai Wolf is kicking off the season with "Indian Summer," a fresh, bright new single out now on Odesza's Foreign Family Collective. The track follows that duo's lead, using a wide array of electronic instruments and vocal samples to bring euphoria to listeners' ears and senses. It's a bit of a divergence for Jai Wolf who got his start producing big EDM and dubstep remixes and working with Skrillex.
It's easy to tell from the song's slow build and that Jai Wolf is going for a triumphant dance anthem judging by the song's long, slow build and the ebullience that comes in around 1:08. The rest of the ride varies in terms of instrumentation and intensity but Jai Wolf keeps up the positive feels throughout. He plays to his audience's tastes, which isn't a bad thing in this case, with catchy riffs here, a bit of harder bass there and shards of shiny vocals all over. Everyone on HypeM loves the song (it quickly reached the top of the chart), and so will you. Give it a listen below.
