The Toronto based producer known as Hunter Siegel is currently keeping his sound fresh and anew. After a series of remixes for Zeds Dead, 3lau, Nomdestrip, and some undisclosed sources, Hunter Siegel brings back the heat with an original production. His method of producing is changing and as a result there are new patterns in his creative music. The latest track from Hunter Siegel shows a well-tuned deeper side than that on his previous releases.
"Still Waiting" essentially sounds like a developed version of Hunter Siegel's prior single "Waiting Up". The main melody seems consistent in both tracks, although Delaney Jane's chorus adds a fair amount of pop influence. Her vocals sound wonderful by slowly introducing the lyrics and bridging each electronic transition. Hunter Siegel shows how his future style stays far away from anything standard with a groovy beat that comes back and forth. You can grab a free download of the track below.
