Everyone knows this time of year is full of great up and coming talent showing off their stuff as summer draws nearer. I, on the other hand, have been focused on only a few who I think will make big steps into fall and beyond. Of that few is collective sideways, who's here today to give us a package of Roy Wood$ remixes from La+ch and Michah. Not only are they fresh, but their essential for this transition into the sunny months.
These guys are no stranger to us, as I last shared La+ch's album/full interview and have dabbled in Michahs sounds as well. The two teamed up to release two supercharged renditions of Roy Wood$ on the same day, so why not throw them both together in one premiere?
As of late, La+ch has been focusing a lot more on instrumentals and Coleman Hell's forthcoming release. His album has garnered over a million plays on Spotify, but he's right back on the horse–with his friends. As for Michah, he's known as the "legs" of sideways. He took a more disco-house path with his edit, stressing the fact that the summer pool party days are among us.
