Fans of Tallest Man On Earth + Milky Chance will dig "Wake Up" by Moa Bones [Premiere]

It is no question that we are currently seeing a resurgence of indie folk and Americana music, if only Mumford & Sons had taken note before ditching their banjos on their latest flop Wilder Minds. That's okay, it gives acts like Milky Chance, The Tallest Man On Earth, Sarah Jaffe, and The Milk Carton Kids room to shine and beat their folky drums. If you are a fan of any of these acts, then you absolutely need to hear Athenian based artist Moa Bones. His voice is rugged and frail, with grit lining every note and his music is simple but melodic. As he gears up for the release of his sophomore album Spun, out May 25th via Inner Ear Records, he has partnered with us to premiere his second singl,e "Wake Up." It is a melancholic and self-reflective track about finding oneself and all the mud we must trudge through to break the spell and truly find one's self. It is an honest and compelling song of hope and light that pairs acoustic and electric guitars and other beautiful instrumentation. If you like this song be sure to grab Spun when it is released at the end of the month. Pre-order the album over on Inner Records here.
