I feel like a lot of the best rock songs happen when the guitarist is bored and usually in a hotel room in LA. Highly Suspect confirmed this for me on their new behind the scenes video for upcoming release "23," a follow up to killer track "Lydia," which we featured on EARMILK back in March. These in studio shots are an effective way for the trio to tell their story as each track is released and on just a teaser video we learned that, "He texted me the voice memo and asked, 'What do you think of this?" And it was voice memo 23." And therein lies the upcoming track's namesake. The Brooklyn based progressive rock and blues trio are currently on tour and have big things on the horizon in 2015.
