As a follow up to Jacco Gardner's 2013 debut Cabinet of Curiosities, the Dutch multi-instrumentalist unveils a brand new offering that goes by the name of Hypnophobia.
The album, set to be released May 5 via Polyvinyl Records, is a product of almost solely Gardner's baroque pop-style songwriting, recording, and producing, all of which effortlessly graces the title track "Hypnophobia".
"Hypnophobia", the second lead single (following "Find Yourself"), proves to be as fantastical and hypnotizing as the album in full, with a true sense of sonic exploration. With pop sensibilities as its bedrock, "Hypnophobia" exhibits a lush array of instrumentation and daydream-like psychedelia that no one can resist.
