DJ Phil of Chicago's pivotal TEKLIFE Collective continues to advance the legacy of the footwork movement with every new release. His latest project is a three track EP released through DJ PBDY's record label TAR entitled the With Me EP. This project has a heavy r&b and soul music influence (the title track sampling a popular Marvin Gaye tune) that manages to display the versatility of footwork as a genre capable of being energetic but soulful at the same time.
