Philadelphia rapper Abrax Phaeton emerged recently with the THUGLIFE EP, a genre-bending account of growing up in a broken home. Despite the dark, moody subject matter of his debut, Abrax also displayed a fast-paced delivery and impressive lyrical palette. Now he's popped up on an EDM track, "Move," by Boulder, CO's Jake Maloney, better known as Jameston Thieves. The track finds Abrax offering up two lightning-strike verses and a massive hook over Maloney's destructive trap madness.
Both artists are versatile on their own, too restless and curious to stick with one style or genre all of the time. Still, they're so well matched here that one wishes they'd explore the collaboration further. "Move" is part of Jameston Thieves' Grass Knuckles EP, check out the whole release here.
