Chase Coy's latest track "Like Sin" is despicably fun

With rustic and feel good simplicity, American Chase Coy mixes indie-style vocals with high character and a peaceful folk-like sound. “Like Sin” is playfully cruel in this charming break up track. Not mournful or heartbreaking, it’s theme is relatable without being depressing. It’s a break up song in the disguise of a chill Spring time mellow track. It’s this contrast that makes his latest track so fun and interesting. It’s a cohesive tune that has a laid back build and California feel.

With his full length album Youth set for release June 23rd, Chase has been building anticipation not only with “Like Sin” but also tracks like “Youth” that solidify his ability to take chill vocals and mix them with a wide variety of instruments, even the banjo, without losing his cheery tone or becoming overly country-sounding.
