Although it was conceived in the Bronx, hip-hop is slowly becoming one of America's most popular exports. Thanks to the global connectivity of the current internet age, artists from all parts of the globe are now able to share music, discover new influences, and spark movements from the most unexpected regions. The newest example of said phenomenon is the rapper Maydien based out of Amsterdam, who has released an impressive four track EP entitled Hello Soul.
This debut project is executively produced by up-and-coming producer Mitchell LC Yard who proves himself as a genuine talent behind the boards by providing Maydien with some stunning future-bass backdrops to toy with. Maydien presents himself as an incredibly confident & capable MC throughout this project, switching up flows and dropping infectious hooks from start to finish. The EP also contains features from a number of AGO affiliates such as Waldo, The Seventh, & Amos Rose for some added flair.
