The land down unda never fails to provide some seriously sexy tuneage and Brisbane-based producer Golden Vessel has got just the right track to confirm that notion. His latest single "Control" will have you floating away in the beauty of the synth heavy production. In collaboration with fellow Aussie Caleb Hodges of indie-rock crew Art of Sleeping on vocal duties, the pair do an effortless job of combining their talents. GV lays down the perfect framework for Caleb's vocals and vice-versa. Max Byrne (aka Golden Vessel) remarks, "I really like music that feels human and has character. I also love the sound and feel of analog devices, and I think I was able to capture all of that quite well with this recording. The story behind the lyrics explore the hardship and suffering around the sudden and unexpected ending to a long-lasting relationship." While his take on the track seems kind of somber, you might just get lost in the song itself it to forget the real message.
