Clark's newest track shows us how "To Live and Die in Grantham" [Video]

Last week, Clark released the Flame Rave EP, a companion piece to Clark, his critically acclaimed album from last year.  The EP continues the Warp producer's action-packed explorations of dystopian club music.  "Silver Sun" was the EP's lead single, and now a video has been paired up with hard-hitting techno banger "To Live and Die in Grantham."

In the video, a man walks along in a trance, bringing a one-man rave out into the broad daylight.  At times he flails like an in-the-zone EDM fan, other times he glides like an interpretive dancer.  The video's director, Christopher Hewitt, stated that he wanted the video to represent the "archaic, almost tribal nature of a nightclub," and he hits the nail on the head.  As the video ends, the man kneels, shirtless, breathless, and spiritually changed.  Clark is currently on tour with Nosaj Thing, dates are below.

I received my degree in English from Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, and Virginia is still home. Apart from my yearly pilgrimage to Moogfest and occasional shows in DC, Detroit, and New York, I like to stick to the fringes, with an eye always open toward music that is forward-thinking and unique, whatever the genre.
