Ah, the joys of listening to podcasts and radio shows: as we are inundated with new music via various streaming platforms, these shows are an easy filter to the overwhelming. One of my favorites, Above & Beyond's Group Therapy, introduced me to a track that I might've only discovered after its release from Dutch trance producer Rafael Frost. "Cubic" was released via his own Frost Recordings project in cahoots with RazNitzan Music, only helping to add to Frost's long resume of releases. As one of the artists who helped trademark the "trance 2.0" sound, he continues building that on "Cubic" with its booming, hearty atmospheric synths, all the while keeping its sound delicate.
