Kan Wakan is an indie soul musical duo ( consisting of Crooked Waters and Peter Potyondy) based out of Los Angeles who have been releasing moody orchestral tunes since early 2012, and who have put out an excellent debut LP back in 2014 entitled Moving on. The group has recently reached out to Zikomo of the Soulection collective for a remix of one of the standout tracks of the album, "Forever Found". This tune is a part of a 25-track remix compilation for Moving On that is out now.

For this rework, Zikomo strips back the orchestral arrangement a bit and instead adds some classic trip-hop flavor with a steady boom-bap drum loop. The superb vocal talents of lead singer Kristianne Bautista are undeniable on this track, as her angelic voice ducks under the mix creating an airy atmosphere that is perfect for that summer hangout or late night drive home. Check out the remix below and make sure to check out Moving on LP stream on Soundcloud or for sale on Itunes & Bandcamp!
