Madeon is in the final stretch before his debut album Adventure is released on March 30th. He has been tucked away in the studio this past year, and so far we've gotten to hear "Pay No Mind" with Passion Pit and "You're On" with Kyan from the upcoming album. The newest track "Home" is the first of the French producer's attempts to feature his own vocals alongside his productions. While we've seen Madeon work magic on the production of his various tracks, who knew he had vocal chops too?!
It's obvious this guy has got talent, but I can really appreciate the vulnerability in using his vocals for the very first time on this track. You can hear the raw-ness in each lyrical line, and it sits nicely with the light productions that sort of remind me of the happy electronic energy that we saw in Porter Robinson's Worlds album.
I've got a feeling that Adventure is about to rock our socks off and for those of you who pre-order the deluxe version of the album here, you'll get Madeon's "Pay No Mind", "You're On", "Imperium", "Finale", "Icarus", and "The City" tracks instantly.
