Detroit based funk master GRiZ has proven time and time again that he is continually pushing himself and challenging his music to evolve and expand behind conventional boundaries. Since the end of 2014 he has been dropping a new single off his forthcoming album Say It Loud out this month. This innovative young artist effortlessly incorporates funk melodies that are manically catchy and sax blasts that are brooding with body and emotion. His latest release is easily his most complex and intricately produced track to date. GRiZ recorded the instrumentals with his Daptones friends in New York, vocal hooks with Mike Avery in Chicago, and if that wasn’t enough he jet set out to LA to direct and record a childrens choir for the backing vocals. This release is the perfect testament to this prolific artists work ethic and ability to create a beautiful fusion of electronic styling with slick funk sensibilities. GRiZ kicked off his world tour last week across the pond and is ready to ignite dance halls across the globe this April. For the true sexual experience be sure to catch him as he sets the Red Rocks Amphitheater ablaze on September 4th, you can grab tickets here.
