Thylacine reshapes Fyfe's "Solace" into a dreamy embrace [Premiere]

Fyfe's story doesn't read pretty. The London-based artist, born Paul Dixon, faced his fair share of struggles before gaining critical acclaim under his at-first anonymous moniker. "Solace" commands the vanguard of his releases so far, a contemplative work that thrives off Dixon's softly sung vocals and minimal production. To gear up for his forthcoming album, Control, Fyfe hands over "Solace" to the French artist Thylacine. While still floating just beneath the surface, the remix gets a rounded dance bass line and transmuted vocals that transport Fyfe one step farther away, a fitting effect given the track's title. Take a second to experience Thylacine's rework of "Solace and pre-order Control for its March 9th release.
