On April 21st, Dorian Concept is set to release the Joined Ends Remix EP in collaboration with the Ninja Tune label. While we've already gotten our first glimpse of Tim Hecker's remix of "The Sky Opposite", today we are treated to the release of Bibio's interpretation of "Ann River, MN". Many of us here at EARMILK have come to hold Bibio in high esteem as an artist and this remix allows us to continue to swoon over him.
The lush remix maintains the integrity of Dorian Concept's original song while softening the emotive turns and transitions in resemblance of Bibio's unique style. The exquisite layering will transport any listener into an alternate universe – where colors are brighter and dreams are bigger.
I can't recall a track that Bibio hasn't completely wow-ed us with. His use of organic influences in his songs meld quite well with the electronic productions. In this "Ann River, MN" remix, you'll find yourself getting completely lost as the track fades out to the sound of flowing water and birds chirping.
