Indie rock band Rocket & The Ghost are a euphoric and nostalgic homage to American rock that would make Bruce Springsteen and Hanson smile and crunchy synth breaks that would make Hellogoodbye swoon. Since their inception in 2012, the band has received praise from USA Today and NYLON Magazine and for good reason – they kick ass. Their latest single “Better Than Before” is a catchy driving rock song with simplistic chord progressions, a thunderous melody and a sound reminiscent of the pop-inspired rock music of the 80s and 90s. The chorus features gang vocals that would make The Killers’ knees week and then out of nowhere there is a synth solo that would make Motion City Soundtrack salivate.
