Sideways, a new artist collective that has had us dancing to the intoxicating beats of La+ch is nothing short of a cosmic chameleon providing a diverse and refreshing array of music. One of their more recent artist is the Toronto based savant Coleman Hell who has proven with his mixture of hip hop, disco, synth pop, and house music that his music has no bounds and his creativity has no limits. “Heat Of The Night” is bubbly danceable pop anthem fit for the roller rink, and his collaboration with fellow sideways mates La+ch “You Are My Summer” is a sultry summer anecdote dripping with wet hot bass and tangy vocals. Coleman’s latest release “Take Me Up,” is a thumping indie synth rock anthem with driving percussion that will have you dancing maniacally with every paradiddle. His vocals soar about the fluttering bass riffs and glimmering synth notes, effortlessly taking you up in a hot air balloon ride where no one can look down on you.
