Tim Gunter continues his streak of updating classic 2000s hip hop jams with a new remix of Mario's "Let Me Love You." The track was an instant classic when it came out more than 10 years ago and Tim Gunter's new mix is destined to bring the incredible, vulnerable, pro-breakup song to the ears of a new generation. Gunter, who won Red Bull's Thre3style U Championship in 2013 and looked up to Scott Storch in the early oughts, adds flourishes of synthesizer and drum machine to Mario's yearning verses, picking things up after the chorus by blending sounds of modern hip hop, tropical house and pop. The song represents nostalgia at its best, with Gunter letting Mario's vocals be, only transforming the song with what he does best, production.
