Some of the most original and groundbreaking musical projects of recent have been a result of a unlikely pairing of creative minds. Forward-thinking collaborations like Run The Jewels, Shabbaz Palaces, and BadBadNotGood x Ghostface Killah were all products of hip-hop veterans stepping outside of their comfort zones by toying with more experimental sounds. It seems that Opio from the legendary Souls of Mischief is set to continue this tradition with his upcoming collaborative EP The Subconscious Mind, which is being produced entirely by revered Low End Theory producer Free The Robots.

EARMILK is pleased to debut the second single off of the project that is entitled "Let The Bass Go", and just as the name suggests this track is heavy. Free The Robots provides Opio with a massive bass-heavy soundscape complete with menacing synth-melodies and dynamic drum patterns. Opio utilizes this sonic palette in order to explore his subconscious mind and to express his devotion to music through intricate rhymes. Check out the single below and make sure to cop The Subconscious Mind EP here when it is released on March 3rd .
