Okay guys, so of course 2015 will be another year filled with a plethora of remixes, and I think we’re finally starting to get a wee bit tired of “Faded”, right? Remixes are valuable though, and still have a lot to offer for avid music fans. If tracks were a paint by number, a remix would be a different color palette. Same idea, different execution, and a fresh new experience with a subtle sense of familiarity. Does that make sense? No?
Okay anyways, Blue Satellite also known in real life as Phil Schwan, has produced an absolutely delightful remix of “Sad Machine”. Far from sad sounding, this bright and vibrant track shines in every sense of the word, and absolutely does Porter Robinson justice. With synths galore, transitional strings for a pinch of emotion, topped off with some funky finesse, this is a multi-dimensional masterpiece.
