Feel nostalgia with Lucette's haunting indie folk single "Bobby Reid" [Exclusive Download]

A couple months ago Edmonton indie folk artist Lucette released her debut album Black Is The Color that somehow flew under our radar despite amassing over a million plays on Spotify. Her lead single “Bobby Reid” is a nostalgic look at the unadulterated conviction of 70’s folk legends like Janis Ian and Emmylou Harris mixed with the mixed indie folk sounds of First Aid Kit and The Civil Wars. Her vocals caress and croon over hallowed guitar riffs that send shivers down your core. When asked about the track, Lucette said, "Bobby Reid started it all for me. It's the song that brought me to my sound and helped me recognize my gift in weaving story with song. This is the song that helped me bring darkness to light and realize that in recognizing darkness you are unified with those who feel the same feelings."

Luckily despite the record flying under our radar we have been given the opportunity to offer an exclusive free download of the track to our listeners for the next 48 hours. Travel down to the link below and grab a free copy of the track that will make your mother and father weep and you ponder your past. For those traveling down to SXSW in March, be sure to catch her as she makes her debut.
