Quartet Life in Film are experiencing that sort of effortless success that happens when there's something really special musically, not to say that they haven't put their work in. New single "Get Closer" is that perfect song that rarely happens so early on, even though the UK based group have two EP's under their belt. It didn't take them long to find a signature sound, and there are too many influences for their indie-pop creations to be discounted.
A prime example? Life in Film have received a support slot from UK originals The Rolling Stones, who likely appreciated the classic blues aesthetics that are fused with their music and were chosen by Christopher Bailey for international performances with Burberry. And that sound is very UK, with charmingly accented vocals, enough acoustic flavor to keep it real and sparkling guitar riffs that carry the tune through. With a debut album on the way -to be released both in the states and Germany- Life in Film is will keep developing what is already nearly flawless and gather more fans along the way.
