JP Cooper's silky smooth vocals never fail to impress and his latest offering is the perfect way to warm you up this winter.
The EP is a comprehensive collection of tracks, with a range of slow soul-ballads and rhythmic, full-textured tracks. "Satellite" is one of the most impressive, it was released on SoundCloud in October and has received almost 70,000 streams so far. Title track "When The Darkness Comes" was released last month and is chill-inducing; JP's vocals have a sensitive and glassy quality. Having seen him live a few times before, I whole-heartedly endorse his vocal talent. Lyrically, all of his tracks are touching and thought-provoking. I have no doubt that JP's career will continue to flourish.
When The Darkness Comes is released on iTunes today but you can stream it on SoundCloud below.
