British singer-songwriter Maiday made a name for herself last year after featuring on Jakwob's single "Fade". Last month she released "Wish You'd Met Me First," and now EARMILK has the pleasure of premiering a heartfelt acoustic version of the single.
Her sound has a somewhat Banks/Jessie Ware feel, with a poppy R&B instrumental and crystal vocals. The emotion in this track is intense, it could almost be a lament. With stunning production and beautiful, eloquent vocals, Maiday successful has us feeling serious emotions on this Monday afternoon.
Maiday wrote Wretch 32's 2011 number 1 single "Don't Go" and has featured on tracks with Bastille, Naughty Boy and Josh Kumra. We can expect to see much more of her in the coming year, keep your ears peeled. Stream the track exclusively on EARMILK and download it for free here.
