Over the past decade, Belgium producer Kid Crème has built quite a following due to his own brand of bass-heavy house music. He is well-known for a slew of releases on his own label, Illegal Beats, but is probably best known for his timeless remix of “At Night” by Shakedown, which is still a essential part of any house DJ’s repertoire, and today, in celebration of a new deal struck during this year’s Amsterdam Dance Event to release his new collaboration with producer Jolyon Petch, “Look For Me,” Kid Crème is giving his fans what they’ve been asking for—new music. Until now, Kid Crème has preferred to keep his music for the fans that choose to come to his shows but to commemorate his signing he has decided give out his remix of Rodriguez’s “Sugarman” as a free download.

Right from the beginning, Kid Crème sets the tone with a crisp percussion and a driving house beat while a groovy bass line anchors the track from below. Kid Crème expertly weaves in between beautiful piano chords and synth work, and this creates the perfect setting to overlay the vocals from the original.
