Rather than his usual edits of electronic based producers, Colorado native Ananda served up a brand new hip-hop flip to kick off 2015 in style. Nonetheless he chose relatively slept-on track, "One of Those Nights" from The Weeknd and Juicy J, which I think is a wonderful blast to the not so far gone past.
When Jade AKA Ananda sent me this track, he said it was nothing too different from his usual output and that it was "nothing specific". Although this may sound like a self inflicted downplay of his music, I see this drop as a proud release of his talent. I love the trap this guy puts out because it's so simple and clean, but this one pushes "clean" to the limit. It may not be the usual chill trap nature, but anyone who knows me can tell you an edit of The Weeknd never fails in my book.
There are no details as to what Ananda has planned this year, but I imagine we'll be graced with a number of edits to make us nod our heads throughout 2015. "One of Those Nights" is up for free download, and you can listen below exclusively here on EARMILK.
