As mysterious as ever, it's always a treat for us to see new Kid Arkade getting dropped into our inboxes. Having already profiled the group's "Atlas Run" as well as "Closer," this time around we're profiling a new track titled "Underbelly."
As we've come to expect from the collective, the track hits hard and is as tight as ever in production. Melodic, feel-good big room chords build into a electro drop that takes us back to the glory days of the late 2000s. There's no current mainstage feel to this one – instead it's rooted in what the slightly older generation remembers of contemporary electro. The vocal cuts complement the features of the track quite well, continually building until we're hit with a second drop that trumps the first.
We're excited to see what is coming next from Kid Arkade, and are beginning to wonder when they'll reveal themselves for all to know. Only time will tell. For now, enjoy "Underbelly"!
