Giovanni Bottai hasn't always been known as DJ and producer Bottai. Growing up in a musical family in Italy, playing drums and loving the electronic music of the 1970s and 80s, Bottai eventually knew that his future lay in the music of clubs. Making house remixes and original records on various record labels have been under his belt for some time now, but this week he officially joins Sebastian Ingrosso's Refune Records with an original release. Due out tomorrow, December 10th, "Loden" is a track that is striking within its first few introductory notes. Moving from a witty piano progression to a big room, electro synth movement, "Loden" also goes through disco and funk-inspired moments. It's somehow all tied together in the end, in a place where only a listen to the track can fully explain it. Check out our exclusive first listen to "Loden" below.
