Italian natives Alessandro and Federico Fognini are Mind Against, a musical venture strongly rooted in house and techno. The duo's latest EP, Strange Days is available December 15th, 2014 via Life and Death. Comprised of two originals and one remix, the release has the pair bringing their signature sound to the Life and Death label as they simultaneously explore new musical territory. Today we're excited to premiere the first two tracks, "Strange Days" and "Polarstern".
Best described as emotional techno, both "Strange Days" and "Polarstern" have heavy, driving basslines and a moody, dark vibe. This is undoubtedly music for a small, packed club. The two originals are followed by a Recondite remix, which reworks the title track into a much more understated, soft trip.
