J Tropic is steadily becoming one of our favorite secret producers of the minute, but even he has been hiding more than a couple things from us, namely who is behind the voice of all of his tracks. We still don't know much about the producer, but it seems that he's finally ready to share her name, Alyss, as they also release a new song- a modern day cover of Earth, Wind, and Fire's "September."
Their version feels new and fresh, while still maintaining the same pop/R&B dynamic that made the hit what it is all those years back. It's definitely an entirely new track, but with enough of a I've-heard-this-before kick that will allow for both you and your mom to jam to this one in the car.
