We introduced you to LA's DJ Politik a while back with his impressive remix of BROODS's hit "Bridges." Today, he continues to prove himself worthy of viral attention with another remix, this time of Shy Girls's indie, chilled out track "Second Heartbeat." Hearing the first note, I was afraid that Politik was heading into the trap of tropical house, but he quickly proved me wrong. Maintaining an overall chilled out, sensual feel, Politik has slightly upped the energy of "Second Heartbeat," but kept its original intent in tact, making this track the perfect listen for a multitude of places: at your desk or chilling on a lounge chair in the sun.
