Sorry for the extremely crude title, but I just couldn't help myself… Plus, it wouldn't have just worked if it wasn't for the honest part about "pumped up" Ed Sheeran. My fellow San Diegans Kicks n Licks put some serious makeover skills into their new edit of Sheeran's "Bloodstream", the likes of which you'd never see in his original music.
I'm not one to frequent this side of the musical spectrum, but I'd be a liar if I told you I didn't have a side to me that locks away ragers for those moments you need a quick pick me up. I'm glad I get to add another to the collection, because the mere application of Sheeran to a synth-trap rhythm not only shows true talent, but a thirst for authenticity. In a game of music like the one most know of because of the internet, sometimes that thirst can define you as an artist, more than often in a strange yet positive manner. Kicks n Licks seems to have that belief on lock, which only leaves me more curious about what we'll hear next.
