UK lyricist and Island Records signee Nick Brewer has released a remix of the track "Me and My Pen", taken from his Four Miles Further EP which was released earlier this year, and features exciting 19 year old Chicago rapper/singer Tink.
The first track to be made on his debut EP, "Me and My Pen", has a mellow hiphop feel and discusses the importance of rapping to Brewer. Tink's silky vocals and verse add to the relaxed, melodic vibe of the original track.
Of working with Tink, Brewer says: “She's such a talented rapper and singer, and I'm a big fan. I think she's gonna be huge. She adds a whole new dynamic to the remix."
Nick Brewer has been working on some brand new material to follow on from Four Miles Further which featured other UK newcomers Little Simz, George The Poet, Max Marshall, JP Cooper and Naomi Scott. He's also headlining at 229 in London on 26 November, get your ticket here.
