I love giving specific direction to the readers who follow my articles. That way we all share a common interest along this multi-faceted path of the internet, constantly sharing and investigating the newest releases of our favorites. The best part about it is when we collectively reach that common apex, when the artists we've supported for so long are ready to debut their masterpiece, and we've helped along the way.
It's been a solid few months covering DMV favorite Black Zheep DZ, but today it's entirely summed up by the release of his full project 8th World. The entire tape is a concoction of DZ's best creations, solidifying his voice and piece within the hip hop game (especially in that region of America). He's told me in an interview before, "I felt like I could do something different than what everyone else is doing right now. I could see myself changing over the years; it’s growing process. We live and learn every day." I hope this ambition skyrockets him into success in the future ahead.
Much to my surprise and great pleasure, upon being asked to write this up, I received a personal message from DZ. Quality is key, but so is being a real human being in this rat race of internet music. Take a listen to 8th Wonder below, and mark this day as history!
