WE'RE SO CLOSE. I've been on a rampage repping the boys from Visionary Music Group, from the premiere of Jon Bellion's new project The Definition, to Logic's first visual and audio drop off of his majorly anticipated debut album on Def Jam Recordings. The excitement is unbearable, but the fact I'm right here sharing the magic with you makes it that much sweeter.
From Young Sinatra I to Welcome to Forever, the path the boys at VMG and Logic have taken is one far less–beaten (that's the best way to describe the past onslaught of unauthentic recordings). Day one of my introduction to the Maryland emcee, I knew his potential had a journey ahead of it that would take the ambition and self-control of a samurai. Now we see him teaming up with the legendary producer No I.D. almost ready to unveil the project of his life, all the while maintaining the passion and humility I heard back on "Just Another Day."
You can grab the new track "Buried Alive" with a pre-order of Under Pressure (I already got mine, people) and take a ride into the deeper, more intuitive side of Logic. The game has only just begun.
