Any lover of the Anjunadeep sound has seen San Francisco based Lane 8’s rise through the venerated label’s ranks this year, releasing The One EP and “I Got What You Need (Every Night) “ as well as remixes for the likes of Eric Prydz and Above & Beyond. Showing us that he has no plans on slowing down, Lane 8 has teamed up with London based Solomon Grey to release “Diamonds,” a track that got featured on the critically acclaimed Anjunadeep 06 and is pure house heaven.

This track is quintessential Lane 8 dance music, opening with a smoother, yet still driving, percussion followed closely by fleeting runs of synthesized beats. All of this coupled with Lane 8’s beautiful chord work is the perfect framework to weave in Solomon Grey’s dreamlike voice, proving yet again that you do not need pounding bass to light up the dance floor. You can pick up this track November 17th on Beatport.
