DMV hip-hop is on a tear. I'm truly enjoying the past 6 months of following Black Zheep DZ and fan favorite Goldlink. It's almost a ton of work to keep up with these guys, as their careers become more and more hectic everyday.
Today I have a new video from DZ, paired with the previous release of "Big Bank Rolls". The plot centers around DZ and 4 women, hopping from home to home performing robberies in undeniable style. The video is almost a DC version of the film Spring Breakers, with Black Zheep fulfilling James Franco's role. Besides the plot, the video is beautifully edited, especially during the hook. I was hooked until the end.
"Big Bank Rolls" is off of DZ's forthcoming project, 8th World, due out sometime Fall 2014. Watch the video below:
