"Masta Blasta" has always had a special place amongst Dillion Francis' discography. It was a monumental song that found its way into every DJ's set for all of the right reasons: the jam could ignite any dance floor. New tracks would come, remixes would drop, and "Rebirths" would surface, but that song still stuck to me as being the definitive Dillion Francis joint; I'll argue with you until I'm blue in the face if you think otherwise.

Sadly, after hearing "Masta Blasta 2.0," I don't think I can go back to the original. The remastered edition somehow manages to pack even more insanity as the Mad Decent producer switches things up and throws in a sinister kick pattern and an intensive groove in the mix. Dillon Francis' upcoming debut album, Money Sucks, Friends Rule, is set for an October 28th release, so make sure to pre-order the project and bump "Masta Blasta 2.0" while you wait.
