Sir Sly's RAEKO creates ominous new remix of "You Haunt Me"

It’s not all that rare that musicians from a group break off and do their own side projects. It is noteworthy though when they start remixing the songs they helped create in the first place, especially when they do such an incredible job of it. RAEKO or Jason Suwito not only built the Sir Sly recording studio himself, taught himself all the music productions skills to record and produce their music, but now he’s also handling the remixes as well.

RAEKO’s remix of “You Haunt Me” is indeed haunting. The rock beat has been traded in for a slow and echoed softness that really gets to the soul of the song. It still bares the character and meaning of the original track but there’s an interesting new moody depth to it that he’s exemplified. RAEKO does a seamless job of letting the song fall in the quieter moments and pick up again for the chorus.
