Robot Koch simulates floating with his remix of Andrea Balency’s “Crystals” [Premiere]

Berlin producer Robot Koch is an acclaimed producer that has collaborated with a diverse array of exceptional artists like Norah Jones, Bassnectar, Tensnake and the cult band Jahcoozi. This year Koch won the 2014 German Music Composers Award and has a starlight path ahead of him. His latest remix is of “Crystals” by rising singer Andrea Balency, who has received support from The Cure and James Blake, and has collaborated with FKA Twigs. Robot’s remix is light, airy, dreamy, and dripping in euphoric minimalism. He lightly orchestrates a delicate and blissful melody behind her angelic vocals, accompanied with harps and other instrumentation that underpins the track's overall felling of floating. Andrea Balency is slated to play CMJ Week in NYC at Coco66 on October 25^th.
