I was caught off guard by Jake Hart's latest track "That Touch". The first minute is a mixture of blurred sounds and synths, almost like listening to a song underwater. Slowly, as you come closer to the surface, clearer sounds and beats become more obvious; then the track just stops. Before you have time to react, the full beauty of the song comes back. The tune is soothing and moody. Bits of the intro are masterfully woven into the track producing a seductive and mellow sound.
It will be interesting to hear what comes next from this London musician. With only two tracks released so far Jake Hart already has a distinctive sound and a calming voice that both peaceful and interesting to listen to.
