Jenaux is truly on a hot streak right now, and if he continues to surge like he has of late, we surely think that he is on his way to making himself a household name in the dance music community. His most recent remix is of rising electronic act Lemaitre's latest single called "Wait". As we hear more from Jenaux, he is beginning to truly prove himself as a versatile producer, imparting his own unique flair on everything he touches, be it an original or a remix.
The original is a great track in itself. It reminds us of those more retro-disco songs with so much life, and energy. Those sultry vocals are simply addicting, and ever so smooth. Jenaux takes the track to another level with simplistic but fantastic work on the keys, blending the line between nu-disco, electro-funk and true, original house music! It's a feel-good track, and now that summer's officially over it will very well remind you of the good times from season past.
Right now there is nothing but positive momentum building for Lemaitre. From their current tour with Porter Robinson, to this EP release on Astralwerks, Jenaux certainly had his plate full in making this remix stand out.
