Everybody likes to get funky. No exceptions. Granted, some people like to get funkier than others, but the bottom line is that I truly can't think of anyone who doesn't like to shake their boo-thang every once in a while. So, if you're overdue for a little booty-movin', tushie-groovin' session, then you absolutely need to hit up this brand new Lucas Chambon EP.
With three original tracks, there isn't much not to like about this one. The dude clearly has a pretty solid grip on music production, and each tune shows pretty intelligent sound design. My personal favorite, "Citadel," will have you going off for the full four minutes and ten seconds, with a gnarly break that's sure to get you on your feet. Move on to the other two tracks, "At Dawn" and "Turquoise," and you'll see each show that Lucas has the capacity to be diverse within a collection, displaying a clear style without sacrificing originality. Up for free download, go get yours, like, now, man.
