Brooklyn based disco/house duo The Golden Pony have a midas touch for turning indie tracks, rap and rock throwbacks and everything in between into their own salacious reworkings. From Simon & Garfunkel to Peaches, and Dr. Dre to Flume there is no genre they are afraid to tackle in fabulous form. Their latest remix is of experimental indie group Alt-J’s single “Hunger Of The Pine.” The internet has been in tizzy ever since the original single was released and included a sample of Miley Cyrus. Just days before the Alt-J’s new album This Is All Yours is released, Golden Pony puts their signature house touch giving it a vivacious, mellow yet danceable vibe.
