French house producer Darius, has remixed The Magician's brand new track "Sunlight" which features English band Years & Years. The original is to be released on September 30th (28th in the UK), and we're expecting a remix EP to be released shortly after.
Darius is signed to French label, Roche Musique, alongside the likes of FKJ and Kartell, who are seriously making waves in the ever-growing Parisian house scene, and throughout Europe. French house music has a specific sound, with soulful bass-lines, disco synths, funky filters and clever phasing techniques. This remix embodies all of the above; it's easy listening house with intuitive production. This, combined with the velvety vocals of Olly Alexander from Years & Years, makes it a really great listen.
