It has been a great year for the experimental rap trio RATKING. Their debut LP So It Goes was lauded by critics as one of most original and energetic hip-hop releases to come out of the east coast (NY) scene in a minute, blending that raw New York sound with elements of electronic and grime music.
Today the group has decided to let loose some visuals for the title track of the project, that manages to encapsulate the gritty but phonetic energy of the project. Directed by Andrew Kass and co-directed by Ahmed Klink, the video has the group in some sort of underground space, performing in front an assortment of outdated televisions displaying an array of grainy VHS film clips, mostly of their beloved city.
