From standout remixes of Cashmere Cat and Disclosure to a distinctly sublime debut EP Marble, French producer Phazz has been turning heads. Nowadays, there are producers coming at us left and right, but few manage to distinguish themselves with the quality, consistency, and sophistication like he does. Phazz has been busy working on another EP with Everydayz, but thankfully dropped a sweet treat for us in the meantime.
Phazz remixes Robin Thicke’s “Forever Love” into a track sure to make all the ladies swoon (You got that, boys? Keep this one handy). When I checked out Robin Thicke’s original, to be honest, it was cheesy like Michael Buble, but that’s what Phazz does, he breathes new life into a track like magic. The synth oscillations are crazy on this one, wait for that second drop. However, I advise that you don’t observe the Soundcloud waveform while listening, because you can diminish the impact of a track when you’re paying attention to it, as opposed to kicking back and just vibing with the music. Not to mention, it takes away the element of surprise.
